Locum Urologist needed in Wisconsin

Flexible locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin supporting a rural, low-volume urology practice. This role offers a manageable patient load, comprehensive facility support, and predictable scheduling.

Schedule & Compensation

• Rotating 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule.
• Monday-Friday 8a-5p Clinic
• One dedicated OR day per week.
• 24-hour call shift: 8:00 AM–8:00 AM the following day; providers remain on call after clinic hours and overnight.
• Single 24-hour rate covers clinic responsibilities and overnight call.
• After-hours callback to the hospital is paid at 1.5× the hourly rate.

Clinical Environment & Support

• Full hospital, clinic, and OR support staff.
• Epic EMR with remote training before start date.
• State-of-the-art cystoscopy suites and Intuitive Da Vinci Si/Xi robotic platforms (robot used primarily for scheduled cases; rare for emergent cases).
• Opportunity to manage emergent, non-critical urology patients in the outpatient setting to help reduce ER visits.
• No radical urology procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general urology care across clinic, OR, and on-call settings.
• Admit patients as needed and manage emergent non-critical cases in outpatient/urgent settings.
• Collaborate with local staff to ensure continuity of care.

Candidate Requirements

• Wisconsin medical license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) providers will be considered.
• Board certified or board eligible preferred.
• Successful completion of standard credentialing process.
• Prior general urology experience required.

Practice Details

• Location: Wisconsin (rural service area).
• Seeking two providers for ongoing coverage.
• Average patient volume: 1–5 patients per day.
• Low-volume facility with a supportive, team-based environment.
