A leading healthcare system in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urology Physicians for flexible 24-hour hospital call coverage.
This is an excellent PRN opportunity for a urologist looking for periodic coverage, with an expected need approximately once every 12–14 weeks. New graduates are welcome to apply, making this a great opportunity for both experienced physicians and physicians early in their careers.
Strong communication skills are highly valued.
📅 Schedule & Call
- 24-hour coverage: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- Example assignment: December 21 at 7:00 AM – December 28 at 7:00 AM
- PRN coverage approximately once every 12–14 weeks
- Hospital and surgical coverage
- Expected callback: approximately 10–12 hours/day
- 2 hours of call-back are complimentary/non-billable
- Additional phone coverage may include calls from:
- Gettysburg
- Waynesboro
- Fulton County Medical Center
🏥 Clinical Details
- Hospital-based Urology practice
- Approximately 76 hospital beds
- All urologic patient populations
- Patient ages include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Physicians will see patients primarily in Chambersburg
- Phone consultation support provided to affiliated locations
- Epic EMR
- No APP support
- Urology skills required

The ideal physician is a skilled urologist who is:
- Comfortable providing independent hospital and surgical coverage
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable managing a broad range of urologic patients
- Reliable and responsive during call coverage

✅ Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license required
- PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand
- DEA required
- Epic experience preferred
- Clean credentialing file preferred
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days; temporary privileges may be available for qualified physicians with a clean file.
