Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position in Potsdam, New York. This is an ongoing coverage opportunity at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.
- Level III trauma center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Primarily outpatient practice with inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding as needed
Manage a mix of patient contact, procedures, rounding, and consults
Approximately 20 patients per provider per day
Adult patients only (18+)
Robotic availability is limited and typically not available on urology days
Qualifications
Active New York state medical license required, in hand at time of submittal
BLS
Epic EMR proficiency required
Working Hours
Clinic operating hours Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
OR block 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM with no case limit
24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
While on call, the provider is expected to remain within a 20-minute radius of the facility where care is being provided
