Job description
We are seeking a Urology physician for a locum tenens position in York, Pennsylvania. This is a flexible opportunity with coverage available for clinic, call, or a combination of both. Please see below for more information.

Job Responsibilities
Practice independently across the full scope of general urology
Manage a mixed clinic schedule combining cystoscopy and stent procedures with office visits, typically 24-28 patients per day
Perform core required procedures including vasectomy, prostate procedures, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy
Perform cystoscopy and ureteroscopy in the operating room
Perform robotic surgery
Provide surgical coverage across two surgical sites
Perform situational and elective procedures as applicable to individual practice, including vasectomy reversal, penile implants, penile plication, and scope procedures
Supervise and provide clinical oversight for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, including newly onboarding APPs
Provide 24-hour call coverage with evaluation and management of urologic emergencies
Treat an adult patient population age 18 and over, with the exception of emergency testicular torsion presenting during call, and rare circumcision support during call when requested by obstetrics
Qualifications
PA License or IMLC LOQ only
DEA required
Working Hours
One-hour lunch on clinic days
24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Coverage may be clinic only, call only, or a combination of both
