Locums | Urology | Marshfield, WI (any state license accepted) Why This Role

  • Board eligible welcome
  • 10-14 days/month, defined blocks Sept through December
  • Temp privileges available
Assignment Details Start/end: Defined blocks — 9/8-18, 9/28-10/2, 11/16-30, 12/18-23; 10-14 days/month Schedule: Clinic 8am-5pm (may be on site earlier for surgery); beeper call, 15-min response, 1:2 or 1:3 ratio. Breakdown ~60% clinic, 10% hospital, 30% procedures/surgeries Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call, inpatient and outpatient Volume: 16-20 patients/shift Setting: Level 2 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required; children's hospital Support: 1 RN, 4 MAs, 5 PA/NPs, 1 office staff; will supervise APPs EMR: Cerner Credentialing: ~60 days Clinical Details Required scope: General adult urology, laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures; typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, bladder instillation Preferred scope: Pediatric urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, PCNL, partial nephrectomy/intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, ESWL Must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion and some pediatric urology patients presenting to the ER Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements Board certified or board eligible in Urology License: any state accepted BLS Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
