Urology Physician Locums Job – NM

Urologist – Hybrid Clinic, OR & Inpatient Coverage

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for an ongoing opportunity featuring a combination of outpatient clinic, elective OR, inpatient, and call coverage. The site is expanding its provider pool and is looking for physicians interested in ongoing availability.

Assignment Details

• Weekday hybrid clinic, OR, and inpatient coverage
• Weekdays may include a half-day clinic or elective OR plus inpatient coverage
• Typical half-day clinic hours are 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-3:00 PM
• Weekend coverage consists of inpatient coverage
• Approximately 5-10 phone consults per day
• Active consult rounding
• No admissions required; hospitalists manage admissions
• Approximately 60-day credentialing timeframe
• Adult patient population with very limited pediatric volume

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide general urology care in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Cover half-day clinics and elective OR cases as scheduled
• Round on active inpatient consults
• Manage urology-related phone consultations
• Collaborate with hospitalists and other members of the care team
• Perform urologic procedures and surgeries within granted privileges

Requirements

• Board Certification required
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• Comfortable providing both clinic and call coverage
• General urology procedural and surgical experience
• Experience with advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic, ureteroscopic, robotic, and other urologic procedures is preferred
• Pediatric urology experience preferred due to occasional pediatric patients
