Locums – Urology | Kearney, Nebraska
Position Overview
- Specialty: Urology
- Location: Kearney, Nebraska
- Assignment Type: Locums
- Setting: Emergency Department & Surgery
- Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Surgery nurses and on-call surgical techs
- Reason for Coverage: Previously scheduled locum canceled
Coverage is needed for the following 24-hour call assignments:
- November 26–30: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- December 24–28: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Nebraska Medical License
- Provide 24-hour urology call coverage
- Respond to Emergency Department urology consults
- Receive patient handoff from the outgoing urologist when appropriate
- Perform general urology procedures as needed
- Variable call volume
- Some days may have no Emergency Department consults
- Other days may have approximately 4–5 consults
- Hospitalists handle all patient admissions.
