Practice Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- EMR System: MediTech
- Patient Volume: 15–20 Patients Per Day
- Call Type: Beeper Call
- Call Response Time: 30 Minutes
- Support Staff: 2 NP/PAs
- Provider Supervision: APP Supervision Required
- Teaching/Supervision: Resident/Teaching Supervision Required
Practice Highlights:
- Long-term vacancy with ongoing coverage
- Office hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 3–4 half-day clinics
- 2 procedure rooms, 1 UDS room, and 6 exam rooms
- Office procedures include vasectomy, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasounds
- Hospital performs 4–8 procedures per day with a broad range of general urology cases
- Well-equipped practice with modern cystoscopy and ultrasound equipment
- Preferred call coverage is 24/7. The facility is open to two locum providers sharing coverage or an alternating on/off schedule to create a balanced rotation.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Urology (Required)
- Active Ohio License or IMLC (Required)
- ACLS & BLS (Required)
- Must provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Must be willing to supervise APPs and participate in resident/teaching supervision
