Job description
We are seeking a Urology physician for a locum tenens position in Chambersburg, PA. This is a specialized on-call coverage opportunity providing 24-hour urologic emergency management and consultation to a 76-bed hospital and satellite facilities. The facility utilizes Epic EMR. Job Responsibilities
• Manage all urologic patient types across age spectrum (pediatrics through geriatrics)
• Provide urologic consultation to primary hospital and satellite facilities
• Respond to urologic emergencies and surgical needs
Qualifications
• State Medical License: Pennsylvania (IMLC LOQ accepted)
• DEA Registration: Pennsylvania DEA required
Working Hours
• 24-hour on-call shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Call frequency: Approximately once every 12–14 weeks (PRN basis)
• Expected callback work: 10–12 hours of active work per day during on-call shifts
• Coverage scope: Primary hospital and satellite facilities
