We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position in Cottonwood, AZ. This is a scheduled and on-call coverage opportunity at an acute care facility. Please see below for more information.

Trauma Level: Adult IV
EMR: Cerner
Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 15–20 patients per day in clinic
Perform 10–15 procedures per week including ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy (disposable flexible cystoscopes available)
Perform 3–4 OR surgeries per week
Preferred procedures include TRUS biopsy, in-clinic vasectomy, and infant circumcision (outpatient)
Robotic surgical suite available (use not required)
Collaborate with support staff including 1 PA, 1 employed MD, and assigned MAs
Complete 4-hour remote Cerner orientation prior to start
Qualifications
Active Arizona medical license or IMLC accepted
Active DEA registration required
Working Hours
Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-Call: Beeper call 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM on scheduled dates; 24-hour beeper call on select dates
Coverage Type: Scheduled + On Call
Specific Dates:
July 1–3: 8a–5p + night beeper call (5p–8a)
July 4–5: 24-hour beeper call
July 29–31: 8a–5p + night beeper call (5p–8a)
August 1–2: 24-hour beeper call
August 15–16: 24-hour beeper call
November 23–24: 8a–5p + night beeper call (5p–8a)
November 25: 8a–5p
December 28–30: 8a–5p + night beeper call (5p–8a)
