🏥 Job Overview
Locum Tenens Urology 24-hour hospital coverage role across multiple facilities. This is an inpatient and surgical call-only position with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
24-hour inpatient and OR urology coverage
Emergency and inpatient consult management
Surgical urology procedures as needed
Phone consult coverage across affiliated hospitals
Management of all acuity levels in urology cases
Independent call coverage (no APP support)
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license required
DEA required
Strong general urology experience required
Excellent communication skills preferred
Working Hours
24-hour on-call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Inpatient + surgical urology call coverage only
PRN coverage: approximately once every 12–14 weeks
Scheduled blocks include:
Sept 1–8 (24-hour continuous coverage)
Nov 16–23 (24-hour continuous coverage)
High callback activity expected (approx. 10–12 hours/day)
