Job description
Locum Tenens Urology coverage in a community acute care hospital. This is a 24-hour on-call inpatient and ED-only role with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
📅 Schedule & Duration
- Coverage Type: 24-hour weekend call
- Shift Structure:
- Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (or Friday evening start option)
- Frequency: ~2 weekends per month + holidays required
- Call Type: Inpatient + ED coverage only
- Orientation: Non-billable hours included
Job Responsibilities
Emergency urology consults via ED and inpatient units
Management of general urology cases
Coordination with hospital physicians and APPs
Stabilization and transfer coordination for complex trauma cases
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license required
DEA registration required
Minimum 5 years of urology experience required
Strong general urology and acute care experience
Working Hours
Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (or Friday evening start option)
~2 weekends per month
Inpatient + ED urology consults only
No clinic or scheduled daytime outpatient shifts
