Position Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for a high-paying weekend 24-hour call locum opportunity at a community hospital in Lewisburg, PA. This is a no-clinic, call-only role focused on inpatient and emergency urology coverage.
This position is ideal for experienced urologists who prefer independent call coverage with strong compensation and minimal administrative burden.
Schedule
- Weekend Coverage (24-hour call)
- Shift Options:
- Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
- OR Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
- Coverage Requirement: 2 weekends per month
- Holidays: Required coverage
- Start Date: May 10, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour inpatient and ED urology call coverage
- Manage general urology emergencies (adult patients only)
- Support hospital with acute urologic cases and consults
- Perform emergent procedures as needed
- Collaborate with existing urology team when applicable
- No clinic responsibilities
Practice Details
- Setting: Community acute care hospital
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital Size: 132 beds
- Support Staff: On-call only (no dedicated clinic staff)
- Team Structure: 2 physicians + 1 PA onsite
- Case Mix: General urology, no pediatric cases
- Trauma: Complex cases typically transferred to tertiary centers
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania license required
- DEA required
- Minimum 5 years experience required
- Strong comfort with independent call coverage
