Locums – Johnstown, Pennsylvania | Urology Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical RoleJoin a well-supported urology practice offering a mix of clinic, OR, and shared call responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking a balanced inpatient and outpatient role with strong team support and consistent volume.
Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Ongoing
Position Highlights:- Balanced mix of clinic, OR, and shared call coverage
- Established team with multiple physicians and APP support
- Consistent patient volume with majority outpatient focus
- Opportunity to perform a wide range of general urology procedures
- Flexible coverage with both weekday and weekend needs
- Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- One dedicated OR day per week (starting at 7:00 AM)
- Shared call including weekdays and weekends
- Call includes rounding on inpatients
Setting: Clinic and Hospital
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric (No Pediatrics)
- 40% Adult
- 60% Geriatric
Patient Volume:
- Clinic: 15–20 patients per day
- Inpatient rounding: 2–4 patients
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing general urology care in clinic and hospital settings
- Performing surgical procedures and managing post-op care
- Participating in shared call coverage
- Rounding on inpatient urology patients
- Managing consults and follow-up care
Procedures:
- Required:
- General adult urology
- Ureteroscopy
- TRUS biopsies
- Incontinence procedures
- Holmium laser procedures (certification required)
- Preferred:
- Percutaneous nephrolithotomy
- Radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit
- Radical prostatectomy
- Fertility workups
- Team includes:
- 2 Physicians
- 2 Physician Assistants
- 1 Nurse Practitioner
- RN and clinical staff
- Surgical schedulers and front office support
Technology:
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology – required
- Active Pennsylvania license – required (preference given to active license)
- IMLC accepted
- Fellowship – preferred
- Holmium Laser certification – required
- Trauma Level I facility
- Approximately 15% inpatient / 85% outpatient practice mix
- Established and collaborative urology team
