Locums – Wethersfield, Connecticut | Neurology (Headache Specialist) Opportunity
Clinical RoleJoin an outpatient-focused neurology locums opportunity specializing in headache management. This role is ideal for a provider with fellowship training in headache medicine who enjoys a structured schedule and procedural-based outpatient care.
Start Date: June 1, 2026 Assignment Length: Through December 31, 2026
Position Highlights:- Outpatient-only neurology practice focused on headache and migraine management
- Consistent weekday schedule with no required call
- Opportunity to perform procedural treatments
- Strong clinical support staff on site
- Ideal for providers with headache fellowship training
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call: Preferred but not required
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Patient Population: Adult
Daily Volume:
- 12–15 patients per day
Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating and managing patients with migraines and chronic headaches
- Conducting new patient consultations and follow-ups
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Performing in-office procedures for headache management
Procedures:
- Botox injections for migraine treatment
- Occipital nerve block injections
Support Staff:
- Medical assistants
- Front desk staff
- Nursing support
- Fellowship trained in Headache Medicine – required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology – required
- Active Connecticut license – required
