Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Neurology
- Proficiency in inpatient care and hospital-based neurology practices
- Experience with EEG, EMG, brain death assessments, and thrombolytic therapy
- Ability to interpret radiologic exams (preferred but unofficial)
- Exceptional clinical and communication skills
- Proficiency with Epic EMR or equivalent documentation systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in hospital-based neurology
- familiarity with stroke care protocols
- Knowledge of neuro-critical care practices
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in neurology
- Prior locum or hospital-based work strongly preferred
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to start on 03/29/2026 and cover shifts through approximately September/October
- Ability to interpret radiologic exams unofficially
- Must obtain or hold current medical licensure in Ohio
- Must maintain all necessary certifications, including ACLS/BLS
- Travel and licensure reimbursement applicable, including lodging (~$150/night) and other expenses as approved
