Clinical Role Join a weekend-focused urology locums opportunity providing 24-hour call coverage in a community hospital setting. This role is ideal for experienced providers seeking consistent weekend work with a focus on inpatient and ER call responsibilities.

Start Date: May 10, 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing

Position Highlights:

• Weekend-only call coverage

• No clinic responsibilities

• Manageable inpatient and ER call volume

• Community hospital setting with established team

• Ideal for experienced urologists seeking supplemental coverage

Schedule & Coverage

• Coverage needed: 2 weekends per month (holiday coverage required)

• Call coverage options:

  • Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM

  • OR Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM

• 24-hour call throughout assignment

Clinical Details & Responsibilities Setting: Community Hospital (132 beds)

Patient population: Adults (no pediatric patients)

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing urology call coverage for inpatient and ER consults

• Managing general urology cases

• Evaluating and treating urgent urologic conditions

• Coordinating care and determining transfers when appropriate

Procedures:

• General urology procedures

• No IR support onsite

• Trauma cases typically transferred to tertiary facilities

Support & Technology

• No onsite support staff during call (independent coverage)

• Existing team includes 2 physicians and 1 PA

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

• Active Pennsylvania license – required

• IMLC accepted

• DEA required

• Minimum 5 years of experience required
