Locums – York, Pennsylvania | Urology Float Pool Opportunity
Clinical Role Join a high-volume urology float pool covering outpatient clinic, procedures, and hospital call across multiple facilities in York, PA. This role is ideal for providers seeking both procedural and clinic-based locum coverage with flexible scheduling options.
Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 6 months

Ideal for providers seeking a mix of clinic, OR, and call responsibilities
Schedule & Coverage
-
Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-
Call coverage: Full month, excluding one weekend; coverage includes additional weekend as needed when the primary physician returns
-
Amount of coverage needed: At least 2 weeks in clinic in addition to call time
Clinical Details & Responsibilities Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital (16 operating rooms across York Hospital and Apple Hill Surgery)
Patient population: Adults (18+)
Patient volume:

Clinic: ~28 patients/day

Call: ~15 patients/day (varies)
Responsibilities Include:

Outpatient clinic visits and consultations

Performing urology procedures in OR and clinic settings
-
Managing trauma-related urology cases (Level I)

Supervising and mentoring new NP/PAs

Providing procedural support across multiple operating rooms

Vasectomy – Yes

Vasectomy Reversal – Optional

Cystoscopy – Yes (in OR)

Prostate procedures – Yes

Ureteroscopy – Yes (in OR)

Penile plication – Yes

Penile implants – Rare

Lithotripsy – Yes

Circumcision – Rare (supporting OB if needed)

Support & Technology

Office/clinic support: 4 MAs, 1 CSA, 1 RN

Full access to cystoscope towers and injections in clinic
Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

Active PA license preferred (for faster start)

IMLC accepted

DEA required

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
