Primary Responsibilities – Inpatient Neurology

• Provide adult inpatient neurology care, admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning
• Interpret radiologic exams (unofficial reads) and incorporate findings into care plans
• Administer thrombolytic therapy and participate in acute stroke management protocols
• Perform EEG (electroencephalogram) and EMG (electromyogram) testing and interpretation
• Conduct brain death examinations and document per hospital policy
• Collaborate closely with neurologists, hospitalists, ED physicians, neurosurgery, and advanced practice providers
• Document patient care using Epic EMR and follow hospital quality and compliance standards
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call coverage as scheduled

Preferred Skills & Clinical Experience

• Inpatient stroke and acute neurological care experience
• Comfort with tele-neurology workflows and urgent consults
• Strong procedural skills for EEG/EMG and familiarity with thrombolytic protocols
• Experience working with Epic EMR in hospital settings
