- Other Details: The position is for a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist with a PA license preferred and DEA, requiring a minimum of one year of experience. It is a six-month full-time contract with weekday shifts from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, including clinic coverage and call for the majority of the month. The practice manages adult patients, with occasional emergencies for younger patients, and involves performing a variety of procedures including vasectomy, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, prostate procedures, lithotripsy, penile procedures, and orchiopexy, with robotic surgery optional if part of the provider’s practice. Support staff includes medical assistants, a clinical staff assistant, and a registered nurse, and the provider may supervise new APPs. Daily clinic volume is approximately 28 patients, with call patients varying around 15 per day, and coverage in the OR is included.

Job Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of procedures including vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, prostate procedures, lithotripsy, penile procedures, and orchiopexy
* Participate in robotic surgery if part of provider’s practice (optional)
* Manage clinic visits and coordinate patient care during full-time weekday shifts
* Supervise and support new APPs as needed
* Cover call for the majority of the month, including patient care during emergencies
* Work in the OR as required, performing surgical procedures
Qualifications
* PA license preferred for quicker start
* DEA registration required
* Minimum of 1 year of experience
Working Hours
* Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm
* Clinic coverage for at least two weeks per month in addition to call
* Call coverage required for the majority of the month, with occasional days off
Skills
* Experience with adult patient populations and emergency urology situations
* Ability to supervise and collaborate with APPs and support staff
* Strong clinical judgment, time management, and patient care skills
* Competence in using office and OR equipment, including cystoscopes and towers
