We are seeking an experienced Urologist for a weekend locum opportunity in Lewisburg, PA. This role focuses on 24-hour call coverage in a community hospital setting, managing inpatient and ER consults with a manageable case mix. Ideal for physicians looking for flexible weekend-only assignments.
Job Responsibilities
Provide general urology coverage for inpatient and ER consults 🩺
Manage emergency urological cases during call
Deliver timely patient care and clinical decision-making
Collaborate with onsite physicians and PA support
Ensure quality care in a community hospital environment
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology ✔️
Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
DEA certification required
Minimum 5 years of experience
Working Hours
Weekend coverage: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM ⏰
Alternate start option: Friday 5:00 PM
24-hour call shifts 📅
Skills
Strong general urology expertise 🔬
Ability to handle emergency and inpatient cases
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
