Position Overview

One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in a hospital-based setting with strong procedural volume and flexible call options.

This assignment offers a balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and inpatient work, with the ability to increase earnings through optional call coverage. Ideal for providers seeking consistent scheduling and high procedural exposure.

Estimated Weekly Earnings: $14,000 – $20,000+

Assignment Highlights

• Full-time schedule (Monday–Friday, 8a–5p)
• Optional 24-hour call (7a–7a) based on provider preference
• Strong need due to current staffing shortage
• ~20 patients per day in clinic
• Mix of outpatient, inpatient consults, procedures, and rounding
• OR block time: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (no case limit)
• Adult patient population
• Level III Trauma Center
• EMR: Epic (required)
• Travel and lodging reimbursed per facility guidelines
• Malpractice insurance covered
• HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency

Job Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient urology clinic services
• Perform urologic procedures and surgeries
• Manage inpatient consults and post-operative rounding
• Collaborate with hospital staff and care teams
• Participate in call coverage if desired

Skills & Experience

• Board Certified in Urology
• Active New York license required (no licensing support)
• Epic experience required
• Strong procedural and surgical skillset
• Ability to work independently in a community hospital setting
