Join Our Team as a Urology Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Urology Physician to provide exceptional urological care within a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, utilizing cutting-edge technology, including robotic surgery, and managing a diverse patient population. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to a premier healthcare environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
- Active DEA registration
- PA Medical License (preferred for quicker onboarding)
- Proficiency in core urological procedures including cystoscopy, prostate surgeries, ureteroscopy, vasectomy, and lithotripsy
- Ability to supervise APPs and collaborate effectively with support staff
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle 24-hour call shifts and manage emergency cases
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
- Experience managing pediatric urological cases on rare occasions
- Additional certifications or training in minimally invasive techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Residency in Urology
- At least one year of post-training practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.)
- Flexibility to adapt to various schedules and shifts
- Ability to participate in full scope urological practice, including operating room procedures
- Travel reimbursements and licensure support available when applicable
- Credentialing process estimated at 90 days; temporary privileges may be available
