Exciting Opportunity: Urology Physician

Join our esteemed healthcare team as a Urology Physician, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care at a top-tier trauma level 1 facility. This full-time position offers a dynamic environment focused on innovative urological procedures, supporting both inpatient and outpatient needs, including surgeries at York Hospital and Apple Hill Surgery Center. Embrace a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call coverage that ensures a balanced work-life dynamic. Perfectly suited for dedicated urologists eager to advance their practice within a supportive team, this role offers the chance to utilize advanced equipment, including robotic surgery capabilities, and oversee a variety of core procedures such as vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, and more.

Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication, and proficiency with EPIC EMR. Board certification or eligibility in urology is required, along with a PA license preferred for quicker onboarding. A minimum of one year of experience in urology practice is expected, with DEA certification mandatory.

Other Requirements:
  • Valid PA license (preferred)
  • Ability to perform core urological procedures
  • Willingness to support occasional pediatric cases and OB support in rare circumstances
  • Credentialing timeline approximately 90 days; temporary privileges may be available with a clean file
