Description
A Pennsylvania-based healthcare system is seeking a Urologist for 24-hour call coverage across two hospitals. The provider will manage inpatient consults, urgent urologic cases, and weekend call coverage. This is an ongoing locums opportunity with scheduled coverage dates and predictable callback expectations.
The physician will cover multiple facilities with lodging available and work within a collaborative hospital-based environment using Epic EMR.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour urology call coverage
- Manage inpatient urology consults
- Handle urgent and emergent urologic cases
- Provide weekend rounding and follow-ups
- Cover multiple hospital locations as scheduled
- Collaborate with hospital staff and care teams
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of urology experience
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
24-hour call coverage
Scheduled coverage dates:
- May 15 (7am) – May 18 (7am)
- June 12 (7am) – June 15 (7am) or June 19 (7am) – June 22 (7am)
- July 3 (7am) – July 6 (7am)
Average callback:
- Friday: 8–10 hours
- Saturday/Sunday: ~4 hours per day
