Coverage Needed: Full-Time (1 provider preferred; open to all availability)
Schedule: 24-hour call

Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (weekly coverage blocks)

Clinical Details

Setting: Hospital – Level I Trauma Center

Patient Population: Adults (18+; rare pediatric emergencies such as torsion)

Call Back Volume: Approximately 4–8 hours per day

Support Staff: APPs (provider will supervise NP/PAs)

EMR: Epic
-
OR Access: 16 operating rooms across York Hospital and Apple Hill Surg
Procedures & Skills Required

General urology procedures including cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, vasectomy (reversal preferred but not required), orchiopexy, and occasional penile procedures

Robotic surg available (preferred but not required)

Ability to perform emergent urologic interventions in a Level I Trauma setting
Practice Environment

Hospital-based urology call coverage

Supervision of APPs required

Equipment available: cystoscope, towers, injection capabilities
