At our top-performing 220+ bed nonprofit health system, we are seeking a Urology Locum provider for 24/7 hospital/ER call and inpatient rounding. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center serving East-Central Indiana and West-Central Ohio. This role focuses on general urology cases, difficult catheterizations, and inpatient rounding with no elective cases.
-Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (Friday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM).
-Location: Richmond, IN.
-Requirement: Minimum of 8 blocks of availability in 2026 required for credentialing.
-Charting: EPIC EMR; order entry completion expected by provider.

Travel/Housing: All covered
-
Malpractice: Covered under locum agreement.
Job Responsibilities
-Manage general urology cases for adult and pediatric (consult) populations.
-Handle difficult catheterizations and urgent urologic surgical needs.
-Perform mandatory procedures including Ureteroscopy, Nephrectomy, and Robotic surgery.
-Attend a mandatory orientation (7:30 AM – 5 PM) one business day prior to the start date.
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Indiana State License or IMLC.
-Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience required.
-Certifications: BLS (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) required if requesting conscious sedation privileges.
-Documentation: Must provide procedure logs for the last 12 months at the time of submission.
-Health: Proof of Flu and COVID-19 vaccination (or approved medical/religious exemption).
Working Hours
-Availability: Locum Tenens; specific weekend blocks available from May 2026 through December 2026.
**We need at least 8 blocks of availability in 2026 to make it worth credentialing**
-All 24 hr call shifts will be from Friday 7am to Monday 7am
