Locum Urologist Opportunity - Clinic + Call - 3–6 Months - Silverdale, WA - IMLC accepted

Assignment Overview:
Facility is seeking a bread-and-butter Urologist for a fast-paced clinic and call assignment. The provider will function as the sole urologist covering general urology cases, clinic, rounding, OR, and call. Provider must be comfortable managing a high-volume practice, working independently, and collaborating with hospital staff to deliver excellent patient care.

Schedule & Coverage:

• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (not every shift)
• 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (approximately 1:6 rotation)
• Minimum Commitment: 3 months
• Call Requirement: 5–6 call days per month (clinic + call required)
• Weekend Coverage: Limited

• Call schedule is released about one month before. Must be able to work weekend call either before or after. If a new provider call would start the weekend after their first week to get acclimated.

Common Procedures Include:

• Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections, etc.
• bread and butter urology, robot available; however, robotic procedures are not required.

Volume Expectations:

• Clinic Volume: 20–25 patients per day
• Surgical Volume: 20–30 cases per month
• Call Volume:
• 20% new consults
• 80% callbacks (primarily established patients returning via ED)
• Average Callback Time:
• Weekday: 0.5 hours
• Weekend: 2 hours

Support & Systems:

• EMR: Epic

Support Staff:

• 2 RNs, Medical Assistant, Surgery Scheduler, 2 Front Office Staff

Requirements:

• Updated CV
• Board Certification: BC Urology (highly preferred) or Truly Board Eligible (within 0–5 years)
• License: Active state license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
• Certifications: BLS, DEA (ACLS preferred; must obtain if selected)
  
• Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months
