- Other Details: We are seeking a urology provider to perform a variety of treatment and surgical procedures, helping patients choose the best options to improve their health and well-being, including services related to pediatrics, adult male and female care, and conditions involving the kidney, bladder, urethra, or ureter. Providers should be comfortable with all general urology cases, including difficult catheterizations, and whenever possible, utilize minimally invasive approaches. Responsibilities include 24/7 hospital and ER call coverage with inpatient rounding (no elective cases) and participation in orientation from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, preferably one business day before the start date. All 24-hour call shifts run Friday 7:00 am to Monday 7:00 am, with multiple dates available throughout the year. Required vaccinations or documented exemptions for flu and COVID-19, as well as ACLS and BLS certifications, are necessary. Mandatory specialty skills include general adult and pediatric urology, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, adrenalectomy, robotic surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ESWL, laparoscopic surgeries, renal and bladder ultrasound and biopsy, and incontinence procedures, with non-mandatory skills including prostatectomy, radical prostatectomy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, penile prosthesis, and renal transplant surgery. The facility has 220 beds and a Level III trauma designation.

Job Responsibilities
* Provide guidance to patients to help choose the best treatment options for health and well-being.
* Handle all general urology cases, including difficult catheterizations.
* Utilize minimally invasive approaches whenever possible.
* Provide 24/7 hospital and ER call coverage with inpatient rounding (no elective cases).
* Attend orientation from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, preferably one business day before the start date.
* Enter work hours into the Vemsta platform and complete order entry.
Qualifications
* Board certified or board eligible in urology (certification obtained within five years of residency).
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
* Required vaccinations or documented medical/religious exemptions for flu and COVID-19.
* ACLS and BLS certifications required.
