Job description
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum tenens Urologist for 3–6 months to provide general “bread-and-butter” urology coverage in a busy clinic and hospital setting. The provider will function as the sole urology provider, handling clinic visits, hospital rounding, surgical cases, and call coverage in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable managing a wide range of general urology cases, with optional access to robotic surgery.

Shift Structure

Minimum 5–6 days of clinic + call coverage

Providers must cover ~80% of listed dates

Weekend call required either before or after a work week

Call schedule released about one month in advance
Job Details / Responsibilities

Provide general urology care in clinic and hospital settings

Manage 20–25 patients per day in clinic

Perform approximately 20–30 surgeries per month

Conduct rounding on admitted patients

Participate in night and 24-hour call coverage

Required Skills & Qualifications
Licensure & Certification
-
Board Certified in Urology preferred or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

Washington State license preferred (or IMLC with LOQ at submission)

BLS and DEA required (ACLS preferred but may obtain if selected)
Clinical Requirements

Experience with general/bread-and-butter urology procedures

Ability to manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working as sole urology provider
Credentialing
-
Credentialing timeframe: ~3 months
-
NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) required at submission

Clean malpractice history highly preferred
Submission / Compliance Requirements
-
Ability to cover 80% of posted shifts
-
Provide specific availability and blackout dates through Feb 2026
-
Provide monthly shift availability for ongoing coverage
-
Complete credentialing documentation including CV, malpractice records, licenses, certifications, and background documentation.
