Coverage Needed
- Start Date: April 20, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing availability
- Schedule: Clinic 8a-4p, Night call 5p-8a, 24-hour call 7a-7a (1:6)
- Weekend Requirements: Limited
- On Call Requirements: 5-6 days/month minimum, any day (Mon-Sun)
- Must be able to work weekend call either before or after
- Open Dates:
- April: 4/20–4/24, weekend call 18-19 and 25-26
- May: 5/4–5/8
- June: 6/22–6/26; 6/29–7/3
- July: 7/6–7/10; 7/13–7/17; 7/20–7/24; 7/27–7/31
- August: 8/3–8/7; 8/10–8/14; 8/17–8/21; 8/24–8/28; 8/31–9/4
Clinical Details
- General urology care in clinic and on call
- Procedures: Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections
- Required Procedures: Bread and butter urology, robot available (robotic procedures not required)
- Patients per day: 20-25
- Number of surgeries: 20-30/month
- Call Volume: 20% consults, 80% callback
- Admissions: Hospitalist team present
- Rounding: Locum will round
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: 2 RNs, MA, Surgery Scheduler, and 2 front office staff
Requirements
- Board Certified Urology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years upon residency completion)
- Active WA license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
- Active ACLS, BLS, DEA (will consider candidates who will obtain if selected)
- Ability to cover about 80% of the dates detailed (3-4 weeks)
- Clean Malpractice (highly preferred)
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
