Locums – Altoona, Pennsylvania – Urologist Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role:

• Locum tenens opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist.

• Required coverage dates:

  • June 22–26 (7a–7a)

  • July 6–12 (7a–7a)

• After initial coverage, schedule is one week per month (Monday 8a – Friday 5p), ongoing.

• Light outpatient clinic schedule during the day.

• 24/7 call coverage required during scheduled week.

• APP support available during daytime hours to round on inpatients and see consults.

• Locum physician will see clinic patients during the day and provide physician-level support as needed for inpatient issues.

Patient Volume:

• Clinic: Approximately 15–25 patients per day (varies).

• Call: Typically 1–4 calls per night.

Practice Details:

• Light daily clinic volume.

• APPs manage most inpatient rounding and consults.

• Physician provides oversight and handles higher-level clinical needs.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.

• IMLC accepted.
