Clinical Role:

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule: Part-time coverage

Typical schedule includes:

1 day per week
-
2 days twice per month (mix of coverage patterns)

Total coverage needed: approximately 4 days per month

Clinic hours: 9:00am–5:00pm weekdays
-
No call responsibilities
Practice Setting:
-
Urology clinic and surgical practice
-
18-bed critical access hospital
-
Serving a regional population of approximately 20,000 patients
-
Older patient population
-
EMR systems:
-
Athena (clinic)
-
Medhost (hospital and surgery)
-
Patient Volume:
-
15–20 patients per clinic day
-
5–10 surgeries per day
Support Staff:
-
Dedicated clinic nurse
-
Experienced surgical team
Procedures and Skills Required:
-
Standard urology surgical procedures
-
Macroplastique injections
-
Botox injections
-
Stone removals
-
TURP
-
TURBT
-
Biopsies
-
Routine open or laparoscopic urologic procedures
-
Strong bedside manner and communication skills
Requirements:
-
Board Certified in Urology – Required
-
Active Minnesota license or IMLC – Required
-
DEA – Required
-
ACLS – Required
-
BLS – Required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience – Required
-
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
