We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neurology professional to provide high-quality locum coverage for a reputable healthcare facility. The successful candidate will help ensure seamless patient care while enjoying comprehensive support and benefits.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in neurology practice
- Proficiency in reading EEGs
- Ability to complete new patient appointments within 40 minutes and follow-ups in 20 minutes
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle referrals efficiently and coordinate patient care effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Advanced certifications in neurology or EEG interpretation
- Prior experience in a fast-paced clinic setting
- Additional familiarity with healthcare technology tools and workflows
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid board certification in neurology
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in neurology
- Prior locum or outpatient clinical work preferred
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday
- Availability for a minimum of two weeks per month, up to full-time coverage
- Credentialing completion prior to start date, with coverage beginning as early as May/June
- Ability to work full-time hours, with OT pay applying after 40 hours per week
- Must possess and maintain necessary licensure and certifications
- Willingness to handle travel and other reimbursements when applicable
