A great opportunity awaits in an inpatient setting for a Urology specialist. This locum tenens assignment in Olympia, WA is perfect for a provider who can manage a variety of urological procedures, offering a mix of clinic duties, scheduled OR time, and call responsibilities. The role includes 24-hour call coverage, supported by allied health professionals, for 10–12 days a month. The position requires availability on both weekdays and weekends, providing flexibility for a balanced work schedule.

Job Responsibilities - Provide 24-hour call coverage, delivering high-quality urology care - Manage up to 16 patient encounters per shift - Perform required surgeries and procedures including laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, radical prostatectomy, and more - Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers for comprehensive patient care

Qualifications - Board Certification in Urology required - Relevant certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS - Experience with robotic surgery is required - Proficiency in endoscopic, laparoscopic, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy procedures - Fellowship preferred

Working Hours - 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM - Requires flexibility to cover 10-12 shifts a month, both weekdays and weekends

Skills - Expertise in general and advanced urology procedures - Strong decision-making skills for emergency situations - Ability to work independently and in a team environment with APP support - Excellent communication and patient care skills
