A community-focused hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont is seeking a full-time General Urologist to join an established urologist and nurse practitioner in a collaborative, single-site practice.
This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient care, surgical procedures, hospital consults, and light call coverage, providing strong clinical variety while maintaining excellent work-life balance.
The practice serves both adult and pediatric populations and provides access to modern operating rooms and supportive clinical staff.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform surgical procedures with pre-op and post-op management
• Provide inpatient hospital and ER consultations
• Participate in light call schedule (~7 days/month)
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
• Engage in quality improvement and professional development initiatives
Qualifications
• Completion of accredited Urology residency (US or Canada)
• Active Vermont License (must obtain prior to start)
• Clean malpractice history
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
• Not accepting visa candidates
• Not open to Locum or Locum-to-Perm candidates
• Must not commute more than 1 hour
• Must not hold concurrent position
