- Preferred Schedule:
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (times may vary)
- Friday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (times may vary)
- 1 hour unpaid lunch
- Call schedule:
- 7–10 days per month (including weekends, dates vary)
- Weeknight call: Night call each weekday when in clinic
- Weekend call: 24-hour call on weekends
- Call type: Beeper
- Call response time: 20–30 minutes
- Worksite Setting:
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (both required)
- Hospital: Trauma Level 3, stroke-certified
- Patients per shift: 16+
- Support staff: 2 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 office staff
- Specialty: General Urology (adult, pediatric, neonate)
- Required skills: Advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder U/S w/biopsy, TRUS biopsies, fertility work-up, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL
- Active Fluoroscopy certification REQUIRED
- Hospital/surgery center privileges required
- 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty required
- Case logs required for surgical specialty
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
- License: CA only
- Board Certification: BC
- Required certs: ACLS only
- Credentialing: 60–90 days
- EMR: Epic
