Position Overview

Seeking Urology Coverage in AZ for an 80-bed hospital setting. This is a call-only opportunity with an ongoing need. The facility is a Level IV Trauma Center serving an adult patient population.

Practice Details

• Hospital-based setting

• Level IV Trauma Center

• 80-bed facility

• Support Staff: 1 RN

• Average Patient Volume: 7–9 patients per day

• Patient Population: Adult

• EMR: Medhost

Required Skills & Procedures

Candidates must be comfortable performing a broad range of urologic procedures, including:

• Advanced endoscopic techniques

• Laparoscopic surgeries

• Percutaneous nephrolithotomy

• Ureteroscopy

• Radical cystectomy with ileal loop conduit

• Radical prostatectomy

• Nephrectomy (partial and total)

• Pelvic lymph node dissection

• Robotic surgery

• Intraoperative ultrasound

• Adrenalectomy

• Renal and bladder ultrasound

• Incontinence procedures

• Penile prosthesis placement

• Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology

• Active Arizona medical license (required)

• Current DEA

• Ability to provide ongoing call coverage
