📋 Description
We are seeking an experienced Locum Urology Physician to provide clinic, call, and scheduled surgical coverage in Bismarck, ND. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for flexible blocks, ongoing coverage, and a well-supported clinical environment from June through December.
Job Responsibilities
• Outpatient clinic care and inpatient consults
• Weekend, night, and holiday call coverage
• Perform scheduled and emergent urology surgeries
• Required procedures include cystoscopy and cystoscopy with dilation
• Post-op rounding and inpatient consults when on call
• Use EPIC EMR for documentation
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (within 5 years of residency)
• Active North Dakota medical license (preferred)
• DEA license
• Recent case logs required
• NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
Working Hours
• Day shifts with clinic and call responsibilities
• Weekend and night call included
• Multiple coverage blocks available (2 weekends minimum needed)
• Ongoing coverage opportunities
Skills
• Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to manage clinic flow and call responsibilities
• Comfortable with both scheduled and emergent cases
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
