  • Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 20 patients per shift and 25 beds in the department. We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist for long-term coverage with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, consisting of 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is no call coverage required. The schedule follows a 2-week on/2-week off rotation to best serve the community. The Urologist will have access to a clinic space and a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite. Required qualifications include an active MI license, MI CDS, and MI DEA, successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology, and current certification or board eligibility in Urology (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery). Providers must have performed at least 50 urological procedures in the past 12 months, or have completed an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency or clinical fellowship within the last 12 months. Facility lodging with amenities is available during scheduled shifts.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide urological care in both clinic and OR settings.
* Conduct 4 clinic days per week, with 1 OR day dedicated to procedures.
* Perform urological surgeries, including the use of the Da Vinci Xi Robot.
* Serve the community through a 2-week on/2-week off rotation.
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
* Collaborate with the medical team to provide high-quality care.
* Maintain professional standards and stay current with urological practices.

Qualifications

* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery).
* Active Michigan (MI) license, MI CDS, and MI DEA required.
* Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology.
* At least 50 urological procedures performed in the past 12 months, or completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months.
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy clinic schedule.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
* 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week.
* 2-week on/2-week off rotation.
