Locum Urology Opportunities in North Dakota!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Urology provider for ongoing weekend call coverage. This position supports the permanent provider with call and clinic responsibilities and includes both inpatient and limited procedural duties. The role involves 24-hour call coverage over one weekend per month, with a mix of patient consults, procedures, and potential emergent cases.

Dates / Schedule

• Coverage Type: Weekend Call

• Frequency: 1 weekend per month (ongoing need)

• Schedule: Friday morning to Monday morning

• Call Type: 24-hour call coverage

• FTE: 1.0

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Facility & Practice Details

• Setting: Hospital-based weekend call

• EMR: EPIC

• Support Staff: 3 RNs, 1 CNA

• Reason for Coverage: Assist permanent provider with call and clinic

Patient Volume & Clinical Details

• 1–3 patients daily during call

• Average callback hours: 1–5 hours

• 3–4 scheduled and emergent surgeries

• 4 surgeries typically scheduled on surgery days

• 15–20 clinic patients per day

• 2–3 in-clinic procedures daily

• No robotics

• Clinic located within hospital

Required Procedures

• Cystoscopy

• Cystoscopy with dilation

• Rounding on post-op patients and inpatient consults if on day call

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certification in Urology (Preferred)

  • Board Eligible accepted within 5 years of residency

• North Dakota Medical License (Highly Preferred)

• DEA License

• Self-Query NPDB Report (Required)

  • Must be dated within 30 days of presentation

• Case Logs (required at presentation and offer stage)

• Completed credentialing application and supplemental documentation
