Locums - Silverdale, Washington - Urology (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role: A strong locums opportunity is available for a Urologist in Silverdale, Washington. This is a clinic and call-based assignment with ongoing coverage needs due to an open position and recruiting challenges. Candidates able to commit to a minimum of three months are required.

Coverage Dates (March may be limited due to credentialing timelines):

• March 16–20, weekend call March 21–22

• April 20–24, weekend call April 18–19 and 25–26

• May 4–8

• June 22–26

• Ongoing availability needed

Schedule Details:

• Clinic: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (not every shift)

• 24-hour call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

• 1:6 call rotation

• Call schedule released approximately one month in advance

• Minimum: 5–6 days of call plus clinic per assignment block

• Minimum commitment: 3 months

Practice Setting:

• Clinic and hospital call coverage

• Admissions handled by hospitalist team

• Locum responsible for rounding

• EMR: Epic

• Support staff includes 2 RNs, MA, surgery scheduler, and 2 front office staff

Clinical Volume & Procedures:

• 20–25 patients per clinic day

• 20–30 surgeries per month

• 20% new consults, 80% callback patients when on call

• Bread-and-butter urology procedures

• Robot available (robotic cases not required)

Procedures Include:

• Cystoscopy

• Vasectomy

• Prostate biopsy

• TURP

• Uroflow/cuff

• Bladder scans

• Ureteroscopy

• Nephrectomy

• Cystectomy

• ESWL

• Botox injections

• General urology care in clinic and on call

Requirements:

• Board Certified Urology highly preferred, or Truly Board Eligible (within 0–5 years of residency completion)

• Active Washington license highly preferred

• IMLC accepted (LOQ in hand at time of submission and uploaded)

• Will consider non-licensed candidates; license must be issued prior to start

• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required (ACLS/BLS may be obtained prior to start if selected)
