This is an excellent long-term Urology locums opportunity in Portage, Michigan offering a consistent clinic and OR schedule with absolutely no call coverage. The facility is seeking a Board Certified Urologist to provide stable ongoing coverage in a well-supported practice environment with dedicated clinic space and a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite. If you are looking for predictable weekday work, strong surgical resources, and a long-term schedule with a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off rotation, this is a standout assignment.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform urology procedures in OR setting
• Maintain documentation and workflow in Athena and Meditech systems
• Provide ongoing long-term urology coverage to support community need
• Collaborate with onsite clinical team and support staff
• Deliver high-quality patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings
Qualifications
• Board Eligible or Board Certified accepted
• Active Michigan license required
• Michigan CDS required
• Michigan DEA required
• ACLS required
• Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency or fellowship required
• Must meet procedure requirement
• At least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months
• Or completion of residency/fellowship within the past 12 months
Working Hours
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00a to 5:00p
• Rotation: 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off
• Typical Weekly Structure
• 4 clinic days per week
• 1 OR day per week
• Call Coverage: None
• Patient Volume: Approx. 20 patients per shift
• Temporary Privileges: Yes
• Estimated Credentialing: 30 days
