1 Weekend Per Month | Ongoing Need | EPIC EMR
A hospital-based urology program in Bismarck, North Dakota is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for ongoing weekend call coverage.
📅 Schedule
- 1 weekend per month
- Friday morning – Monday morning
- 24-hour call coverage
- Ongoing assignment
🏥 Practice Setting
- Hospital-based coverage
- Clinic located within the hospital
- EMR: EPIC
- Strong nursing support:
- 3 RNs
- 1 CNA
🔎 Responsibilities
✔ 24-hour weekend call coverage
✔ Manage inpatient consults
✔ Post-op rounding (when applicable)
✔ Perform scheduled and emergent procedures
✔ Support clinic operations as needed
📊 Patient & Case Volume
- 1–3 patients per day (call coverage)
- 3–4 scheduled and emergent surgeries
- Clinic volume: 15–20 patients per day
- 2–3 in-clinic procedures daily
- On surgery days: ~4 scheduled surgeries
🛠 Required Procedures
Providers must be comfortable performing:
- Cystoscopy
- Cystoscopy with dilation
(No robotics required.)
✅ Requirements
✔ Board Certified in Urology (Preferred)
✔ Board Eligible accepted
✔ North Dakota License (Preferred)
✔ NPDB Self-Query dated within 30 days (Required at presentation)
✔ DEA License
✈️ Travel & Logistics
- Preferred hotel accommodations
- Domestic air travel only
- Credentialing at one facility
