Locum Urologist Position in Paducah, KY

Join the dedicated team at a premier healthcare facility in Paducah, Kentucky, seeking locum Urology coverage starting in 2026!

This practice features a collaborative environment with 1 physician and 2 nurse practitioners, delivering high-quality patient care. The requirement is to support the call schedule of 2-3 weekends per month, ensuring comprehensive service coverage for urology consultations, rounds, and necessary procedures. With advanced surgical facilities, including robotics, this role provides a dynamic practice setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide relief for the existing urology team by covering inpatient services.
• Manage urology call schedule, including consultations and rounding on patients.
• Perform necessary urological procedures and surgeries as required.
• Collaborate effectively with the nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in weekend calls, covering up to 2-3 weekends each month.
• Utilize onsite labs and imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology.
• Experience in general urology and advanced endoscopic techniques.
• Ability to perform ureteroscopy and hold laser certification.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient care.

License and Certification Requirements:

• KY Medical License preferred (IMLC accepted).
• BLS/ACLS Certification is mandatory.
• Flu Shot required.
• COVID Vaccination is highly preferred.
• A recent Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation) is required.
