Join a well-supported urology program in Portage, Michigan offering a consistent weekday schedule, modern surgical resources, and a long-term need with stability. This is an excellent opportunity for a Urologist seeking predictable clinic and OR time with no call and a structured rotation that supports work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform urology procedures and surgeries in the OR
• Manage assigned inpatient rounding as needed
• Supervise APPs as required
• Perform urological procedures aligned with privileging scope
• Provide admissions coverage as required
Qualifications
• MI CDS required
• MI DEA required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted
• Certification through American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (Urological Surgery)
• Completion of ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship (or approved foreign training)
• Must have performed at least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months OR completed residency/fellowship within the past 12 months
• Must be able to obtain hospital and surgery center privileges
• Credentialing timeframe estimated at 30 days
• ACLS required
Working Hours
• Duration: Ongoing
• Monday through Friday coverage
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Typical schedule: 4 clinic days and 1 OR day weekly
• Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• No call coverage
