Job description
General Urologist Opportunity – Brattleboro, Vermont
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Urologist to join a collaborative, single-site urology practice alongside an established urologist and nurse practitioner. This position provides comprehensive outpatient and surgical urologic care to adult and pediatric patients in a community hospital setting.
Position Details:

Diagnose and treat a wide range of urologic conditions including kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, incontinence, urinary tract infections, and other common disorders

Perform surgical procedures with full preoperative and postoperative patient management in modern operating rooms

Provide hospital and emergency department consultations as needed

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated patient care

Participate in a light call schedule, averaging approximately 7 days per month

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
-
MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited Urology residency program in the United States or Canada

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

Active Vermont medical license (required prior to start)

Active DEA registration
-
Clean malpractice and license history
-
Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation
