A well-established nonprofit community health system in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist to join its hospital-based urology team. This is a permanent, weekday-only opportunity offering excellent work-life balance with no call and no weekend requirements.

📍 Position Overview

• 🏥 Urology Physician (MD/DO)

• 📍 Location: Pittsfield, MA

• 💼 Full-Time | Permanent

• 🕒 Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (variable)

• 🚫 No call required

• 🚫 No weekends required

🩺 Key Responsibilities

As a Urologist, you will:

• Provide comprehensive general urology care to adult inpatients

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of urologic conditions

• Participate in inpatient rounding and collaborative treatment planning

• Support hospital-based urology procedures and peri-operative care

• Utilize onsite lab and imaging services for diagnostics

• Collaborate with a team of 5 experienced urologists and multidisciplinary staff

• Ensure continuity of care within the hospital-based practice

• Document all patient encounters using Meditech EMR

• Adhere to established clinical protocols and quality standards

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certified in Urology – Required (no exceptions)

• Relevant inpatient general urology experience – Required

• Active Massachusetts medical license – Required

• Active BLS certification – Required

• Clean malpractice and license history – Highly preferred

• Most recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days) – Required at presentation

• Permanent employment availability required
