A facility in Durango, Colorado is seeking Urology locum tenens coverage to assist with gaps in coverage. This position offers inpatient, emergency room, and call responsibilities at a Trauma Level III site, with ongoing opportunities beginning in July 2026.
Dates of CoverageAll shifts end the following day at 7:00am.

Ongoing dates will be needed beginning July 2026. The site requires three weeks per month total of locum coverage.

24-hour call coverage, 7:00am–7:00am

Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage

Evaluation and management of general urology patients
-
Urologic surgeries
-
Dedicated OR time for various procedures

EMR: EPIC
-
Support Staff: Medical Assistants, NP/PA, RN
-
Module (Learn Lessons): Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training
-
EMR Virtual (PPL) Training:
-
Modules must be completed before attending
-
Virtual training must be completed at least one week prior to the provider’s first day

Board Certified Urology – Required
-
Active Colorado License or Active IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) – Required

Active BLS – Highly Preferred
-
Active DEA – Highly Preferred
-
Transferred DEA may be considered; provider must maintain this DEA for the full duration of the assignment, not only worked shifts

Candidates must be available for any dates listed in the job description and disclose which stints they can cover to be considered for ongoing dates – Required

Candidates must list the number of shifts per month they are able to offer ongoing – Required
