Locum Physician – Urology, Morgantown, WV
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Urology
Location: Morgantown, WV
Shift: Call coverage only, 7:00 AM Friday – 7:00 AM Monday
Start Date: May 15, 2026
Duration: Ongoing locum coverage (weekends through Dec; see schedule below)
Position Details:
- Support staff: None on weekends; no clinic coverage required
- Patients: 1–2 on Friday, 5–10/day Sat-Sun; occasional OR cases (stents, stones, clot evacuation)
- Patient population: Adults 18+
- Department: Level 4 trauma hospital
- EMR: Cerner
- Practice setting: Hospital
- Special procedures/skills: All general urology skills required
Schedule (Sample Weekend Coverage Options):
- May 15–18
- June 12–15 or 19–22
- July 3–6, 10–13, 17–20, or 24–27
- Aug 14–17 or 21–24
- Sept 4–7, 11–14, or 18–21
- Oct 9–12 or 16–19
- Nov: Any weekend except Thanksgiving
- Dec 4–7 or 11–14
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required
- State license: WV or eligible for IMLC/temp WV license
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
